Highly trained Attorney Search Network Legal Analysts will follow screening criteria provided by panel attorneys to refer the caller to a lawyer in their area, who practices the area of law which matches the caller's legal needs. Attorney Search Network also provides information about other programs or organizations, in case the client does not require the help of a private lawyer.
Yes. Attorney Search Network can help you find a lawyer that handles cases in the area of law you need. Attorney Search Network has a network of over 400 lawyers, which practice 131 different categories of law. Attorney Search Network has lawyers that practice in various areas of law, including criminal law, real estate law, immigration law, estate planning law, employment law, insurance law, tax law, liquor law, intellectual property law, landlord/tenant law, social security law, traffic law and workers' compensation law.
When you are referred to a lawyer, you will receive an e-mail copy of the lawyer's informational profile which includes their contact information and information about their practice. An Attorney Search Network staff member will connect you with the lawyer's office right away, unless you need to call the lawyer and speak to her/him at another time. The lawyer will have a consultation with you, either by phone or in-person, to discuss the case at more length.
The lawyer referral is free of charge. However, once you speak to the lawyer and decide to retain their services, you will be charged by their office for representation. Attorney Search Network does not charge for referrals, the lawyer will charge their normal rates.
During the consultation, the lawyer will determine if they can take your case and give you a price estimate of the cost of representation. After discussing the case, you and the lawyer will have enough information to decide if you want to work together on your legal issue. For more information, see our guide to a successful consultation.
It is advised that you write down the questions you have for the lawyer about your case. You should also have all your documents, dates, amounts, charges, times, fees and fines organized to take along with you. It is important to be prepared. To be property prepared, we recommend you use one of our lawyer consultation guides.
