Student Visas

Definition:
Student visas are given to foreign residents who wish to pursue their
education at an academic institution. The student visa
applicant must have a valid reason for pursuing their education abroad and
the student visa applicant is required to fully support her/himself while
in the U.S., since they are not eligible for employment. The student must
also be willing to leave the U.S once the term of study is complete after
60 additional days.
Consequences of Student Visas:
Student visas may be difficult to obtain, since special circumstances must be shown in order to be granted the visa. Especially in the case that the student does not have adequate financing, the visa may not be granted. The tie a student has to their home country is also examined. In some cases, a student visa application can be rejected due to these factors. What a Lawyer can do for you:
An immigration lawyer could be helpful in arguing cases of F-1 visa denials. A lawyer can help a student prove that they have no intentions of becoming immigrants in order to decrease chances of getting denied. An immigration lawyer understands that this is the most common reason why students get turned down from attaining a student visa.Lawyer Referral Service:
